Chocolate Chip Cookies
Shortening, 1 pound
Sugar, brown, 13 ounces
Sugar, granulated, 12-1/2 ounce
At medium speed, cream shortening in mixer bowl.
Gradually add sugar; mix at medium speed for 3 minutes or until light and
fluffy. Scrape down bowl
Then add:
Eggs, whole, 5 eggs or 8 ounces
Water, warm, 1 Tablespoon
Vanilla, 1/2 tablespoon
Blend thoroughly about one minute.
Then add:
Flour, general purpose, 1 pound 10 ounces
Baking soda, 1 tablespoon
Salt, 3/4 Tablespoon
Add dry ingredients; mix only until ingredients are combined about one minute.
Then add:
Chocolate Chips 1 pound 2 ounces
Mix chips evenly. Only one minute. DO NOT over mix
