I hope this message finds everyone doing well.  Thank God Spring is here!  I am looking forward to the next couple of months.  Here is what is happening with the chapter:

     Next month's dinner meeting at the A Third Place Pub & Cafe should be an extraordinary evening.  Not only are we going to have a great dinner to enjoy, but I understand we will also have a wine tasting.  Dinner will cost $20 per person.  The chapter will pay the rest of the bill.  Don't forget cash bar!  I need to thank SYSCO Food Services again and Chef Kit Kiefer from Schwan's Food Service for all the support that they give us. Whenever I ask, they come through.  Each year my culinary class prepares breakfast (2-3 days worth) for our sophomore class prior to them taking the FCAT exam.  Each year SYSCO comes up with the product.  I have asked that other large company for help and they just ignore my request. Please support the sponsors that support us.  I just do not understand why that other extremely large company does not want to support our little chapter.  If anyone knows why, please let me know.  If you plan on attending the dinner party, please RSVP so we can let Chef Matthew know the count.

    I also want to thank everyone that attended my annual Spring Break BBQ last Saturday.  We had a great time and the food was out of this world.  Thanks again.

       Well that is it for now.  This message was intended to create a lively discussion about membership. I know we need to discuss many other topics.  I will work harder next month to bring other items of concern up. I understand that we do not need to agree with other.  As long as we respect each others opinion we will always get along. I hope to see everyone next week at our meeting.
